Dear reader,

FOCUS! I'm going to talk about focus this month. We've all got to FOCUS strongly on what our core strength is. In my case, I've decided after some serious deliberation and some sharp business counsel from a great business colleague of mine, to focus on my major core speciality. And that speciality is to help others to make persuasive sales presentations to optimise sales revenue.

In everyday language, this is SALES TRAINING! Supported by an arsenal of human dynamics resources and strategies, I can help you live your ultimate selling dreams - and that is to optimise your sales revenue, achieve a better sales process, make persuasive sales presentations, handle objections better, negotiate better, prospect better, close better, get over your cold call reluctance, help build a better customer/client relationship, sell with emotional intelligence, and to enjoy the profession of selling even more!

Life is a series of sales presentations (Fripp). If you don't believe me, you're selling everyday - to your boss, to your colleagues, to your family, to your customers - you're selling your ideas and wishes and want them to 'buy-in' to you and your ideas, aren't you?

So I hope that you will still enjoy reading this newsletter as I will keep on giving you hints and tips on getting more of what you want out of work and life! These strategies and techniques also cover the field of better interpersonal communication skills so you can get along better with others, even if you are not in the profession of selling.

After all, sales skills are just communication skills. Building relationships. Serving others in life, and when you do that well, you also get what you want out of life. Now that's a good deal, isn't it?

Sales Mastery
In sales, you just don't mouse around! For those in selling, (and isn't that almost all of us?) there's always lots to think about. Although selling is not rocket science, it's still a complex process and I believe that not just one approach fits all. We need to equip ourselves with alternative approaches because we're so different and each and every customer of ours is also so different.

To provide you with some guidelines towards selling with integrity and professionalism, here's a list of 10 commandments of the sales process:

  • Selling is part of marketing
  • Selling reflects the buying process
  • Selling demands proper preparation
  • Selling must be delivered in an appropriate manner
  • Selling is complex and you must manage the process
  • Selling effectively must be a long-term view
  • Selling must use creative, unique and memorable description
  • Selling must be client-oriented
  • Selling must be benefit-led
  • Selling must incorporate effective need identification

So without intending to sideline other issues, follow the above 10 commandments and they will help you to gain what you want. In sales, much can be gained by using these core approaches, and this should propel you towards even greater success in your sales career.

Soon, you will have profit, pride, passion, and happier people! Money - when you make lots and lots of money from selling, you'll have pride and passion. This makes for a better quality of life for people. You deserve it. We all deserve it.

Championing the Inner Child


Do you know how to make yourself feel good? If you wanted to feel completely joyous, excited and raring to go right now, could you? Sure you can!

Just change your mental focus. Remember a time when you felt on top of the world, your heart just brimming with happiness? Picture it all in vivid detail. Listen to the sounds around you. What did you hear? Breathe the way you were breathing, and putting the same expression on your face, move your body just as you did then.

What did you feel then? How was it for you? What did you see? Picture it up in full brilliant colour! Take a deep breath and go there right now! Feel the tingle in your toes, the thump in your heart and the absolute aroma of success!

Really imagine and feel it. Now, you could feel this way anytime that you wanted to! You can do it now!
